Joshua Winfield Pilcher, 42 of Kingston, was arrested this week after he was found to have been stealing power from Georgia Power for nearly two years.
Reports said that Pilcher connected an illegal cord to the main power line and ran it to his residence.
Police added that between July 21, 2020 and June 21, 2022 Pilcher stole $7,957.68 worth of power.
Pilcher is charged with felony theft of services.
