Authorities have confirmed the identity of the man killed after being struck by a car Monday morning on Turner McCall Blvd as that of 40 year-old Cedric Floyd.

A pedestrian was killed in an early morning wreck on Turner McCall Boulevard, according to Rome police.
Reports said that after being struck Floyd became pinned under the vehicle. The driver of the truck, who had not been identified as of Monday afternoon, was taken to the hospital to be examined.
