Laura Kate Ellis, 23 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she assaulted another person while breaking a hairbrush and a pair of scissors.
Police stated that Ellis broke the items after throwing them while threatening the victim.
While being taken into custody, Ellis was found in possession of marijuana.
Ellis is charged with simple assault, criminal trespass and possession of marijuana.
