Jerry E Wheeler, 30 of Honolulu, Hawaii, was arrested in Rome after he was allegedly found with drugs while driving a stolen motorcycle in Cave Spring.
Reports said that officers pulled Wheeler over on Alabama Street for having a broken tag light.
While speaking with Wheeler, officers discovered that the motorcycle had been stole out of Panama City Beach. A search then led officers to find a semi automatic handgun in Wheeler’s waistband. A second semi-automatic handgun was then found in his saddlebag. A THC oil pen was also found on the motorcycle.
Wheeler is charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property, possession of THC oil, two counts possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, driving on a suspended license, driving without insurance and no tag light.
