Jatavious Tyshaun Posey, 19 of Cartersville, was arrested in Rome after reports said he was captured on video breaking into and stealing a car and its belongings back on July 25, 2021.
Posey is also accused of stealing mail from the mailbox at the home on North River Road.
Reports added that on July 19th, Posey is accused of stealing a gun from a vehicle on Avenue D in Lindale.
Posey is charged with felony theft by taking, theft by taking a motor vehicle, entering an automobile with intent to commit a felony, theft by taking from a mailbox, criminal attempt to commit a felony and probation violation.
