Rome police have asked for the communit’s help in locating a man who went missing on the day of his wedding. Police sad that Mark Jones, 47, is described as a white male, approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall and 190 pounds with hazel eyes and brown/gray hair.
Mr. Jones was last seen at approximately 5:30AM on April 29, 2022 and is believed to have walked to the Fort Jackson/Civic Center area and may have been on the walking trails from the area of Lindberg Drive.
He was last seen wearing a bright blue long sleeve shirt with blue jeans and a gray hat. He may also have on a gray button-up shirt. If anyone has any information on Mr. Jones condition or whereabouts, please contact Investigator Aaron Thacker at 706-238-5126.
