Terry Eugene Anthony, 64 of Rome, was jailed on a felony drug charge following a traffic stop for a broken taillight.
Reports said that after stopping Anthony on North Broad Street, officers allegedly observed a plastic baggie containing methamphetamine on the floorboard.
Police added that a search resulted in them also finding a glass pipe that is used to smoke meth.
Anthony is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug related objects and no tag light.
