The Cartersville-Bartow County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the launch of ForBartow.com, a standalone workforce development website created to be a resource for employers, job seekers, and members of the community.

Chamber Workforce Development Director Matthew Thomas remarked, “Workforce continues to be the number one challenge among businesses in our community today. Our goal for ForBartow.com is to be the digital resource for talent and workforce information in Bartow County. We are excited that employers, job seekers, and working professionals can access it at any time to help address career,
training, and workforce needs.”

The website includes tools for employers, job seekers, students, educators, and the general public to explore, including a job board of local employment opportunities, the brand-new Chamber Speakers Bureau for those interested in speaking to students about their careers, and Job Jots videos which showcase “a day in the life of” various local employers.

Chamber CEO Cindy Williams shared, “Workforce development has been at the forefront of the Chamber’s strategic plan for several years. Through our research, we have learned that many community stakeholders are simply unaware of the existing resources available to them, hence the inspiration behind the development and launch of ForBartow.com. We are proud to share this new tool that aims to address the needs of Bartow County’s current and future workforce partners.”

The website was designed by local graphic design firm Lara J Designs and more features will be added as new programs arise.
