Ayron Damon Adams, 32 of Cedartown, was arrested in Rome this week after a high-speed chase followed by a foot chase through Walmart.

Reports stated that Adams fled from police after he was allegedly clocked driving at over 115 mph.

During the car chase, police said that they observed him tossing an item out of the car.  A stolen gun was later found in that spot. 

After stopping, Adams ran on foot and into a Walmart and attempted to hide in the store, where he was eventually captured.

Authorities added that a search of his car also resulted in them finding marijuana and an open Mike’s Hard Lemonade.

Adams is charged with simple assault, theft by receiving stolen property, criminal trespass, cruelty to children in the third degree, speeding, driving on suspended license, passing in a no-pass zone, stop sign violation, open container,  reckless driving, fleeing police, possession of marijuana, obstruction.
