Adm Lamar Ely, 39 of Calhoun, was arrested in Rome after police said they found him in possession of a baggie containing methamphetamine and marijuana.
Ely was arrested near the intersection of Broad and Turner McCall Blvd.
Ely is charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance and possession of marijuana.
