Randall Duane Craig Jr, 33 of Trion, was arrested this week after reports said he stole two Milwaukee batteries from the Home Depot.
Reports added Craig then proceeded to attempt to resist officers who were attempting to take him into custody.
The batteries were valued at $298.
Craig is charged with theft by shoplifting and obstruction of law enforcement.
