Diamond Amiras Hardin, 27 of Rome, was arrested this week after police discovered that she signed a ticket using someone else’s name.

Police said that Hardin was pulled over last December after spotting her holding a cellphone.  During the stop, she gave the name and date of birth of someone else.  She then allegedly signed a ticket using the victim’s identity.

An investigation led police to find Hardin’s identity, which also resulted in them finding out she had been driving on a suspended license.

Hardin is charged with false statements and writings, giving false information to police, identity theft, driving on a suspended license and driving on a cell phone.
