Nakia Shereise Finlay, 46 of Rome, was jailed this week after a report said she lied to the Northwest Georgia Housing Authority about her income in order to attain public housing.
Reports said that Finley attempted to obtain a reduction in her rental charge by failing to disclose her actual income.
Finlay is charged with fraudulently obtaining public housing.
