Wesley Scott Furnish, 21 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he threw a child out of his crib and then proceeded to throw a television.
Officers said that he then allegedly fled the scene before officers arrived.
Furnish was charged with second-degree cruelty to children, criminal trespass, and leaving the scene of an accident.
