John Kevin Gazerro, 54 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he attacked a woman at a home on Margo Trail.
Reports said that Gazerro grabbed the woman and slammed her against the wall during the altercation. Gazerro then allegedly attempted to push the victim down a set of stairs.
The victim suffered visible injuries to her right eye and forearm.
Gazerro is also accused of throwing the victim’s cellphone against the wall, causing it to shatter.
Gazerro is charged with battery, criminal trespass and probation violation.
