The Rome/Floyd Metro Task Force arrested 55 year-old Alvin “Pink Worm” Sylvester Chambers Jr, 55 of Rome, this week after they found 4.5 pounds of methamphetamine at his 22 Reece Street home.
Police said that the 2.04 kilos of meth was packaged for resale. They also found digital scales and marijuana during the drug raid.
The approximate street value of the drugs is listed at over $122,000.
Chambers is charged with trafficking meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of meth, possession of marijuana and possession of drug related objects.
