A 24-year-old Rome woman, Blanca Estela Arteaga, was killed in a three vehicle wreck on I-75 near Cartersville Wednesday morning.
According to the reports, Arteaga was driving a 2014 Toyota Camry when she struck the rear of a 1995 Freightliner tractor trailer near mile marker 289.
Reports went on to say that after the impact the tractor trailer came to a rest on the side of I75. The Camry stopped in the right northbound bound lane. It was then a second tractor trailer, which was northbound, struck the rear of the Camry.
The impact caused both vehicles to travel across northbound lanes of traffic and into the median.
