Jeremy Stanton Edwards , 39 of Rome, was booked into the Floyd County Jail this week after reports said he repeatedly burglarized a home on Plainville Road.
Police said that Edwards used a card to gain entry into the home through the front door. He was also seen trying to break into a nearby car.
Reports stated that on November 13th Edwards was captured on camera stealing a hat (valued at $50), boots (valued at $200), sunglasses (valued at $100) and a Nile bag (valued at $50).
The next day he was again captured on camera stealing a bicycle (valued at $150).
Edwards is charged with two counts theft by taking, two counts first degree burglary and criminal attempt to commit a felony.
