Harlan Shamus Emery, 34 of Rome, was arrested this week after he violated a protective order when he repeatedly sent text messages to a woman.
Reports added that the victim told Emery repeatedly to “leave her alone” and stop texting her.
The messages were sent between November 27th and December 30th of last year.
Emery is charged with harassing communications and violation of family violence act.
