Donald Eugene Nichols, 58 of Rome, is facing additional drug charges after brining drugs into the jail following his arrest on similar charges.
Reports stated that Nichols was found in possession of a meth pope and marijuana at the intersection of Ga 101 and Zona Kay Circle.
After arriving at the jail, police said that they found a baggie that contained numerous types of pills on him.
Nichols is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of drug related objects, drugs not in original container, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, and crossing a guard line with drugs.
