Dillion Newberry, 23 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said he was found walking down Park Street in Lindale heavily intoxicated while swinging a baseball bat.
Police said that Newberry could not keep while speaking with him.
He is charged with pedestrian under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
