Kimberly Jean Hester, 46 of Cave Spring, was arrested this week after reports said she starved and failed to provide care for two dogs.
Reports stated that one of the dogs was found extremely skinny, to the point his ribs and hips were showing. Another dog was also suffering from a skin condition with blood showing.
Officers stated that animal control had been dispatched to the home earlier in the week and requested that the dogs seek medical attention within two days. They went on to say that when they returned to the home Hester had failed to do so. Hester is charged with two counts cruelty to animals
