Alana Thompson, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports stated she slammed a man’s foot in the bedroom door.
Officers stated that when they arrived on scene the victim was laying on the floor in pain.
A teen told police that he witnessed his mother hitting his dad.
Thompson is charged with simple battery.
