Cedric Orrin Mills Sr, 63 of Rome, was arrested after allegedly being found in possession of cocaine and a smoking pipe.
Reports said that officers found the drugs while taking him into custody for an active probation violation warrant.
He was taken into custody at a gas station on Turner McCall Blvd.
Mills is charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug related objects, obstruction, parole violation and five counts probation violation.
