Kevin Logan Scott Drought, 21 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he repeatedly struck a woman in the face and head, leaving cuts and bruising around her head.
Police added that the victim also suffered a head injury from the attack.
The alleged incident occurred at a home on Spout Springs Road October 25th.
Drought is charged with battery.
