Tecorey Johnson, 31 of Jonesboro, was jailed in Rome this week after burglarizing several businesses in Floyd County.
Reports said that on December 7, 2015 Johnson used a sledge hammer to break into the Kwik Way on Calhoun Avenue. Johnson, along with other members of a street gang based out of Atlanta, stole $10,000 in cash.
Then again on December 24, 2015 Johnson did the same thing at Chuck’s Corner on South Broad Street. Johnson, along with other members of a street gang based out of Atlanta, stole $80,000 in cash. Johnson is charged with two counts smash and grab burglary, two counts second degree burglary and violation of the Georgia RICO act
