Charles Richard Bowman, 55 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found in possession of methamphetamine and marijuana.
Reports said that a search of his home on Old Summerville Road led officers to find less than an ounce of marijuana, a glass pipe containing suspected meth, digital scales and needles with drug residue.
Bowman is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana and possession of drug related objects.
