Floyd County Police arrested two individuals, Patrick Gaylord, 35 of Silver Creek, and Chelsi Rena Nation, 27 of Cartersville, at a convenience store on Rockmart Highway after officers found them in possession of a large amount of methamphetamine.
Reports said that officers were arresting both on active warrants, Gaylord was wanted for probation violation and Nation was wanted for hindering the apprehension of a criminal.
Arrest records say that back on July 1 of this year Nation hid out James Colby Ray, a wanted criminal.
On Friday, while officers were taking the two into custody they stated that they recovered over 30 grams of methamphetamine, marijuana and a glass pipe.
Gaylord is also accused of shoving the arresting officer and refusing to follow instructions.
Nation is charged with possession of meth, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute, and hindering the apprehension of a criminal.
Gaylord is charged with trafficking methamphetamine, possession off meth with intent to distribute, and obstruction of law enforcement.
