A homeless 55 year-old Rome man, Albert Sorrells, was arrested this week after police said they found him in possession of stolen property at the South Broad Mini Mart.
Authorities added that after arriving at the jail he was found to be in possession of crack cocaine.
Sorrells is charged with felony theft by receiving stolen property, possession of cocaine and crossing a guard line with drugs.
