Two inmates at the Floyd County Jail, Orlando L Cunningham, of Rome, and Joseph William Tapp, 28 of Rome, are facing new charges after reports said they got into a physical fight inside the facility.
Reports said that Cunningham bit the victim’s finger and scratched his neck.
Tapp allegedly injured the victim’s left eye and eye socket.
Both are charged with unlawful acts in a penal institution.
Tap has been housed since January of this year on theft and drug charges.
Cunningham was just arrested last month on exploitation and incest charges.
