Floyd County Police arrested two people, Charlie Lewis Brown, 48 of Rome, and Kristy Hancock, 35 of Collinsville, at the Creekside Inn on various charges.
Reports said that Hancock was found with suspected methamphetamine and syringes.
Brown was arrested for violating a protection order when he was around Hancock.
Officers stated that when they signed a flashlight on Brown he attempted to run away.
Hancock is charged with possession of meth and drug related objects.
Brown is charged with violation of a protective order and obstruction.
