John Dallas Ivey, 42 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after reports said he sold methamphetamine to an undercover informant.
Police said that the informant recorded the drug deal, which occurred at the Economy Inn, back on April 6 of this year.
Ivey is charged with sale of methamphetamine.
