Keisha Helene Taylor, 40 of Rome, is facing additional charges after reports said she took meth into the Floyd County Jail.
Police said that she was initially taken into custody at the intersection of Turner McCall Blvd and Riverbend Drive after she was found with a smoking device.
After arriving at the jail, Reports added, she was found with methamphetamine inside a bookbag that she took with her.
Taylor is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug related objects, crossing a guard line with drugs and probation violation.
