Dustin Shane Reynolds, 33 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he forged numerous checks totaling over $7,000.

On June 18, Reynolds allegedly used a mobile device to deposit a fictious check in the amount of $3,745.80.

Police said that on July 1 Reynolds went into a location on Shorter Avenue and attempted to cash a forged check for $778.64 from Evergreen Landscaping.

On July 3rd he is also accused of attempting to cash a fictious check in the amount of $3,000 on the same business account.   Police went on to say that Reynolds fled the store after being confronted by a United Community Bank employee.  

Reynolds is charged with two counts identity fraud, two counts 1st degree forgery and 4th degree forgery.
