Charles Jeffery Garrett, 39 of Rome,  was arrested this week after reports said he was found with numerous psychedelic drugs during a traffic stop for speeding.

Reports stated that officers found him in possession of marijuana, THC cartridges, and non prescribed prescription pills. He was also in possession of magic mushroom spores. Magic mushroom spores are the precursor to psychedelic psilocybin mushrooms and used by mycologists who look to grow psychedelic mushrooms at home.

The traffic stop was conducted at the intersection of Ga 140 and Hiram Road.

Garrett is charged with possession of cocaine, sale- distribution of dangerous drugs, possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, and speeding.
