Kaviaus Relendez Seagraves Jr, 30 of Rome, was jailed this week after reports said he beat a woman in the face in front of a child.
Reports said that the victim suffered a busted lip, a knot to her head and scratches on both legs.
The incident occurred at a location on North Broad Street .
Seagraves is charged with battery and cruelty to children in the 3rd degree.
