Joey David Thomas Ford, 25 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he stole a Chevrolet Silverado from a home on Wynnie Road.
Reports stated that he stole a the truck while the owner was gone on vacation. Reports added that Ford drove the vehicle down the road and left it, where it was eventually reported as stolen.
The theft occurred back on June 7th.
Ford is charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle.
