Crissie Anne Wells, 43 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports stated she beat another woman with a hammer.
Police stated that the victim suffered injuries to her wrist.
The incident occurred at a home on Hasty Road earlier this month.
Wells is charged with aggravated assault.
