An inmate at the Floyd County Jail, Tara Lorrae Farmer, 42 of Lindale, is facing additional drug charges following an ongoing investigation.

Reports said that Farmer conspired with another to sell methamphetamine.

Police said that on March 3rd Tara used a communication device to arrange a drug deal. Police said she was attempting to buy meth.

Farmer is charged with conspiracy to possess meth and use of a communication device for facilitating a felony.

Tara Lorrae Farmer, 41 of Lindale, was arrested after a traffic stop on Maple Road at Summit Drive resulted in officers allegedly finding numerous drugs.

Reports said that arresting officers located a smoking device containing methamphetamine, marijuana and hydrocodone.

Farmer is charged with possession of meth, possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug related objects, driving on a suspended license and seat belt requirement.
