Crystal Mercedes Jacome, 31 of Rome, was booked into the Floyd County Jail this week after she allegedly intentionally accepted counterfeit money form another person and went to exchange it for real cash at a location on Calhoun Road.

Reports added that Jacome then took the real money back to the person that gave her the counterfeit cash and gave him the cash.

The total amount of money that was taken was $120.

Jacome is charged with theft by deception, 2nd degree forgery and party to a crime.
