John Paul Sauls. 36 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports he attempted to prevent police from getting his methamphetamine.
Police stated that while searching Sauls they found him in possession of a plastic baggie containing methamphetamine.
It was then Sauls allegedly attempted to remove the bag from the officers possession and run away from them.
Sauls is charged with possession of meth and obstruction of law enforcement.
