Rome Man Arrested After Causing Wreck by Slapping Driver

John Raushawn Watkins, 26 of Rome, was arrested this week after he slapped the driver of a car he was a passenger in on the face.

Police added that the slap caused the driver to crash into a parked car, causing damage to both vehicles.

The incident occurred on Forsyth Street.

Watkins is charged with battery and 1^st degree criminal damage to property.
