Daniel Lathen Formby, 34 of Piedmont, AL, was arrested in Rome this week after a routine traffic stop led police to find drug and drug paraphernalia at the intersection of Gadsden and Foster Mill Road.

Reports said that after stopping Formby for not having a tag light they discovered that he was also driving on a suspended license.

While taking Formby into custody he was found to have possessed a pipe containing meth residue, a bag of meth and a hypodermic needle.  

Formby is charged with possession of meth, possession of drug related objects, driving on a suspended license and no tag lights.
