Rome Woman Arrested After Check theft and forgery

Kelli Catherine Grissom, 42 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she altered and forged a stolen check.

Reports said that Grissom then mobile depostied the check, which totaled $1,100.

The incident occurred in January of this year.

Grissom is charged with 4^th degree forgery, theft by receiving stolen property and theft by deception.
