Rome Woman Arrested After Beating Another in Front of Children

Sheryl Denise Thompson, 40 of Rome, was jailed this week after reports said she beat up another woman in front the victim’s children.

Reports stated that Thompson is accused of causing visible injury to the victim’s face, as well as superficial injuries to her body.  

Police went on to say that the victim’s two children witnessed the attack.

Thompson is charged with battery and two counts cruelty to children in the 3^rd degree.
