Rodney Jogno Patio, 31 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he beat another man over the head with a brick at a home on Branham Avenue.
Reports added that the victim also suffered several puncture wounds to the left side of his body.
Patio is charged with aggravated assault and probation violation.
