Four Romans, Shanell Marcia Martin, 23, Rodney Jermaine Sullivan Jr, 21, Rodneyshia Jermayian Shonta Dennis, 19, and Daniel Eugene Whatley, 23, were arrested this week after reports said they beat down a woman and hit another with a purse during an altercation at Eagle Park on Howell Street at West Callahan Street.
Police stated that Whatley shoved a woman to the ground while she was assaulted by Dennis, who repeatedly punched her in the face with her fist.
Reports added that Sullivan also punched the woman while she was being beaten by Dennis.
Martin is accused of hitting another with her purse.
Whatley, Dennis and Sullivan are all charged with battery.
Martin is charged with simple assault.
