Emily Louise Fowler, 36 of Rome, was arrested at the Fair Bridge Inn on Martha Berry after police said they found her in possession of a stolen car.
Reports said that the vehicle had been reported stolen earlier in the day.
After arriving at the jail, a search led authorities to also find a stolen Floyd County employee’s ID badge.
Fowler is charged with two counts theft by taking and probation violation.
