A convicted felon, Cierre Nichell Jackson, 31 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she was found illegally in possession of a firearm.
Reports said that Jackson was found with a Taraus G3c 9mm handgun in her vehicle.
Jackson is charged with possession of a firearm by convicted felon.
