Contravious Tymon Cross, 40 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he stole a Chevrolet Tahoe from a location on Maple Street.
Reports added that after police found Cross they discovered that he had been driving without a valid driver’s license.
Cross is charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle, driving without a license, and probation violation.
